It’s crazy to think that a year of schooling is almost over for kids in NYC. The last day of school than June 27 this year and a good thing to celebrate with your child so you can recognize their hard work and growth.

If you’re trying to think outside the box and figure out how to celebrate them, we’ve compiled a list of activities below that you can do with your kids to start the summer break!

Watch a movie in the Park

There is no better way to get away than to go outside or watch a movie. Why not combine the two? There are many venues throughout town that are starting to host outdoor movies for free! If you’re looking for a fun night out with the family, take a look this list to see free performances outside of your area!

Write Teachers Thank You Notes

Teachers should celebrate too! Another great way for your children to celebrate the last day of school is to write thank -you letters to their teachers. Sending thank -you notes is a great way for your children to reflect on their experiences and pay for it at the same time.

Hang Out at Harlem Lake
