15 Saddest Behavior Death and Abandonment, Ranked

Kingdom of the beast is one of TNT’s most successful original films, and each episode has viewers on the edge of their seats. A big source of tension in the series is driven by the fact that it is ready to write any character, including the unique leading lady. This show is definitely not afraid to pull everyone’s heart and cut the main cast in a serious and brutal way.

Some of these characters meet their fatal deaths, while others simply wrap up and leave. But not surprisingly, some of these departures are more emotional and affecting than others.

Updated January 8, 2021 by Hilary Elizabeth: Animal Kingdom definitely follows its title theme which only targets the strongest living in the brutal world of organized crime. Each season of the series seems more bloody and more bloody, so with that in mind, this article has been modified to include the latest murders and escapes of the show.

15 I

Most of the fans sang on the television screen for J to finally end the girl’s madness. This character started working for Smurf, and viewers quickly learned that he was the finger behind the cause of Baz’s death.

If that wasn’t enough to make everyone hate him, he killed Lucy too. More than that, he was not a kind person and unattractive character. He lasted 20 entire episodes, though, until he met his demise thanks to J’s bullet in “Ambo”, in season 5.

animal kingdom tupi

The only real thing Tupi has about her girlfriend Mia in terms of liking is that she’s not as long as she is, so she doesn’t get upset.

Clearly he gave it up for J and was foolish enough to not only take a step against Codys and steal their latest score, but actually wear evidence of his betrayal around his neck. If you look at how stupid he is, it’s a miracle that he survived as much as he did.

13 Si Jed

Jed watches Colin in the Animal Kingdom

Smurf has met a lot of bad people in his entire life, so the one he harbors his hatred is so deep that he’s willing to die because it has something to say.

Colin is Janine’s best friend, but her brother Jed is very serious. He takes advantage of Smurf when he is the weakest and when his own brother dies. So, it’s no surprise that, when Smurf finds out he’s going to die, he’s ready to come out with a flame of glory just for Jed.

12 Morgan Wilson

Morgan Wilson in Animal Kingdom

Morgan Wilson is the lawyer (Smurf’s lawyer), and he’s less irritated than Mia Benitez. While Smurf was imprisoned, this woman repeatedly met with J to settle some financial matters.

As it turns out, J pulled out a Uno reverse card and manipulated this manipulative woman, and she ended up being cut into her boat and thrown into the sea to drown. Not cool, J. But with that being said, no one in the movie or watching is more sad to see him go.

11 Nicky

Maybe because J’s next flame, Mia, is even more intense, but Nicky’s departure is a bit of a hassle. Nicky is a bit of a mess and not the brightest character Kingdom of the beast, and the fact that she moved from a relationship with J to a romance with Craig doesn’t look good for her.

But, as far as Kingdom of the beast The characters go, Nicky is better morally than most of them, and it’s interesting to see him improve even more over time. Maybe he was lucky to come out alive, though.

10 Julia Cody

Even if Julia’s death is actually the reason the story begins and pulls J into the criminal world part of the rest of his estranged family, that doesn’t make his disappearance less significant.

Yes, he’s not a character in his own right within the series, but J has become a truly horrible and dark man, and that wouldn’t have happened if Julia hadn’t died of a drug overdose and left her son with nowhere else to go.

9 Amy

It’s actually quite sad that Amy’s character left the show. She’s the kind girl in the church who started dating Pope (while the boys plan to steal the church’s fundraiser), and their relationship is real and it’s so nice to see Pope finally meet a to decent. She was sweet, handsome, smart, and definitely good for Pope.

However, it is not surprising that he no longer wants to see her again after he is told he is a murderer. He lasted 11 episodes, disappearing forever in “Hyenas.”

8 Lena Blackwell

Lena Blackwell of Animal Kingdom

Leaving the entire Cody family is undoubtedly the best for Lena, and despite her young age, the fact that she wants to stay with her foster family shows that she knows it.

And even though Pope was really the only Cody he was close to who really loved him like a daughter, he did the right thing and set him free for himself. That doesn’t mean their farewell isn’t entirely heartbreaking.

7 Angela

Angela in the Animal Kingdom

Pope can never rest. hapit na no one was happy when Angela returned to the Codys ’lives, but he is Julia’s best friend and thus has an important connection with her twin brother.

They seem to be developing a strong bond, and it seems like Angela is really trying to stay straight and tight. So when Pope discovered that Angela’s sudden disappearance was because she was murdered, it was a real shock.

6 Catherine Blackwell

Cath’s death was one of the saddest in the series. Sure, he’s not the most interesting character, but actually his mistake was to cross the Smurf.

However, it is very sad to know that Lena’s mother is gone, and even more sad that Pope, who has always loved her, is doing it. Smurf wants to portray herself as a woman who takes care of everyone’s family, but the fact is that she has no doubts about throwing Cath and that she is willing to trauma her son by manipulating her to murder him brutal.

5 Lucy

Lucy is Baz’s other flame, and it seems true that he loves her more than his own wife. Lucy is a badass and doesn’t take any anger out of the Cody family. His death was cut short because fans really thought he was as intelligent and brave as hell, and he died right in front of his son (at the hands of the pathetic Mia).

He admits to Smurf that he killed Baz, which is a big moment in the series. However, his insistence on stabbing the Smurf likely signed his death warrant.

4 Colin

Colin is only in 11 episodes, they are all in season 5. And still, his death definitely made fans cry. Yes, Colin isn’t perfect, but he’s trying, and he’s definitely the best relationship Janine has.

If that wasn’t enough, she literally died picking up a bullet for Janine while she was pregnant with their twin. Obviously, this will be destructive and will have a huge impact on Smurf and the entire Cody family. Although Deran and Craig are unlikely to be born if Colin survives, nothing is said about how his defeat affected Smurf’s brutality.

3 Adrian

Even if it could be for audience debate, Adrian’s departure was one of the hardest moments on the show to date. Sure, a lot of the characters literally get hurt in their heads, but Adrian tells Deran that he’s the worst thing that ever happened to him being brutal.

And then he left, and Deran collapsed in a pool of tears. Given the dysfunctional but unbreakable bond between Codys, it’s not a big surprise that Deran remains. However, her relationship with Adrian has endured many horrible experiences, so devastating that it is finally over.

2 Barry “Baz” Blackwell

Baz is one of the most complicated characters in Kingdom of the beast, and for that reason alone, it is very sad to see him walk away. Even sadder is that he seems to be about to start his dream life with Lucy when he is brutally shot, and it’s horrible that his surrogate mother Smurf is the one who upset him.

Sure, he challenges Smurf’s role as leader of the Cody family, but not really as if their dysfunctional dynamic ends with one of them killing the other. And since Baz is likely J’s father, it seems like a big mistake that this development in the relationship went undetected.

1 Janine “Smurf” Cody

Sure, in the grand scheme of things, it’s probably for the most part Smurf kicks the bucket. He is poisonous and dangerous. However, he is a unique character and the pillar around it Kingdom of the beast built.

Many characters came and went throughout the series, but only a few leaves that had an impact on the show were made with Janine’s death. She came out as she wanted and it would be interesting to see how her family would have survived without her, but her absence changed everything.
