Curren $ y: Pilot Talk 4 [Jet Life]
It wouldn’t be a New Music Friday without Curren $ y, who, in 2021, released nine projects: Collection Agency (February), Welcome to Jet Life Recordings 2 (June), Supreme Ruler (August), Pair Rolexes (September), Still stoned by the Sea (October), Regatta (October), the Land Air Sea EP (November), and, today, Pilot Talk 4. Louisiana’s newest rapper performed with producer Ski Beatz, and marked his first Pilot Talk entry since 2015’s III.

RXK Nephew: Transporter 4 [New Breed Trapper]
RXK Nephew releases more music than Curren $ y and he will never wait until Friday. Any day is good. The 21-minute Rochester rapper Transporter 4 arrives only nine days later Shawty RXK Too 2. And, to be clear, RXK Nephew hasn’t been released before Transporter in its title: The new release is clearly a tribute to the 2015 film Transporter refueled.
