Play a few word associations with the word “summer,” and you’ll undoubtedly come up with some common expressions: beach, pool, tan, vacation, sunglasses, sleep-away camp in Bridgton, Maine. Okay, that last one might just be me, but there are definitely a few things that are inextricably linked to almost all mid-year joys. If you are a RESULTS reader, summer certainly means live music season, and the tours hitting the road in 2023 are set to continue the grand tradition.
Now, sure, there are all the stacked festival lineups from Bonnaroo to Outside Lands that you can (and should!) check out. But you don’t have to travel often to get the best deals this summer, not with Alvvays and Alex G together; or Weezer there rocking Spoon, Future Islands, Modest Mouse, etc.; o The All-American Rejects toured for the first time in a decade and brought The Get Up Kids, New Found Glory, Motion City Soundtrack, and The Starting Line.
Is your item still pop? When Madonna came to town, the Jonas Brothers played five albums in full every night, and P!NK kept going. Looking for something more difficult? NEW cover by the stars of Metallica touring behind their latest album, Rob Zombie and Alice Cooper join forces, and punk legends X are back. Maybe you lean more classic? How does a Lionel Richie and Earth, Wind & Fire show sound? Or Tears of Fear, or Sparks?
The point is, there is a many of concerts to be caught this season. Fortunately, many of these unforgettable shows are part of Live Nation’s Concert Week (May 10th-16th), where you can get $25 all-in tickets for more than 3,800 shows. You can get that HERE, and see our full list of essential summer 2023 tours below.
