Whether you are looking for a menorah light or a glow in the dark dance party, there are Hanukkah celebrations and festivities that will make your Hanukkah even more memorable.
Hanukkah at Jane’s Carousel
Jane’s Carousel, New Dock Street, Brooklyn, NY
Dec. 1, 4:30 pm – 6:30 pm
Hosted by Chabad in Dumbo, Chanukah on Jane’s Carousel brings families together to celebrate the holiday in a fun way. Participate in activities like carousel rides, ice Menorah carvings, arts and crafts, and more! At the end of the evening, families will be able to gather around and participate in a traditional Menorah lighting ceremony. This event is free, but guests are asked to register.
Hanukkah on Ice
Nov. 29, 6pm – 9pm
This annual skating experience is known as one of the biggest Hanukkah parties in the city. Guests can enjoy listening to Jewish music, eating delicious kosher food and, of course, skating all night! To keep everyone safe and healthy, guests 12 years of age and older are asked to present proof of vaccination, a recent PCR test, or take a rapid test at the venue. Masks are also required at the Club House at all times. Tickets start online at $ 22 or $ 30 with skate rentals but prices go up when shopping at the door.
92nd Street Y, 1395 Lexington Avenue, New York, NY

Celebrate the festival of light while looking at the stars! 92Y puts on a rooftop event where guests can participate in fun and festive activities. Parents enjoy jamming to classic hanukkah songs while kids play with their friends. The event is also available online. Adults and children 12+ must show proof of immunization and must wear a mask at all times. Tickets start at $ 18.
Hanukkah Family Fest

Indulge your children in celebrating Hanukkah with fun activities housed at The Jewish Children’s Museum. Kids can practice unique Chanukah arts, decorate donuts, and learn the art of making olive oil. This festival is the perfect way to celebrate the holiday with the family.

At Community Chanukah Celebration, there are fun activities that are perfect for every family member! Not only will there be live music and good food, but guests will also love to watch a performance at the Chabad Hebrew School. This event is free but donations are appreciated.
