The search for who will play the next James Bond continues, and according to a recent report from Puck’s Matthew Bellonione name to watch out for is Aaron Taylor-Johnson.
In the latest newsletter from Puck, Belloni says that the rumors surrounding Aaron-Taylor Johnson and his role as Bond have weight to them, since the actor recently met James Bond producer Barbara Broccoli.
According to Puck, the meeting also went well, but there was one big thing that prevented the actor from cementing his place as the iconic spy – he would be too famous.
“But while Taylor-Johnson fits the bill – great actor, British, fits the younger direction the Broccolis want to go, accomplished but less popular – he’s about to become a bigger star,” it read in the report. “If Sony Spider-Man spin-off Kraven the Hunter or Ryan Gosling’s two hands at Universal The Fallen Man The works, Taylor-Johnson may end up, in fact, too famous to get Bond. “
While some fans might wonder how successful it is Kraven the Hunter Perhaps, the history of Taylor-Johnson as an actor is filled with some great roles, including projects like Kick Ass, Avengers: Age of Ultronand latest, 2022’s Bullet Train.
