Now, with their newly announced Reflections banner, the productive trio hope to put the soundtrack in the middle moments as well. “The mornings after, the nights apart, the journeys are shared along the way. Those are moments of reflection,” Above & Beyond said when speaking of their new business.
Launching on May 16th, 2022 with a pair of new Above & Beyond singles, Reflections will focus on ambient, downtempo, and alternative music from a range of established and emerging talent. This includes Yottofuture project, Erased Dreamswhich was the first album released by the label.
“The nice thing is, a lot of our artists are already doing things like this or are fully capable of doing good things like this,” said James Grant, co-founder of the supervising company at Anjuna, Involved Group. “We’ve always focused on emotional, soul, and melodic dance music, so at Reflections, you can omit the ‘dance’ part here.”

Martin Roth, Ryan Davis, Northling, Jessie Marcella, and Croquet Club are among the other artists set to release music on Reflections. In addition to curating talent, the team behind Reflections also plans to build mood-based playlists, compile Above & Beyond’s existing downtempo tracks, and commission more lay-back versions of the famous releases by Anjunabeats and Anjunadeep.
“People are overly stressed and overly adrenalized in the online world we live in … (But) there is a therapeutic side to music, and this particular kind of music is relaxing,” Grant concludes. “The world needs a lot of music like that. That’s what Reflections will do.”
