Across the Spider-Verse Clip Shows Miles & Gwen Web-Swinging


Sony Pictures has dropped another one Spider-Man: Beyond the Spider-Verse clip for its follow-up to the 2018 Oscar-winning animated film Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse.

The video shows Miles and Gwen trying to figure out each other’s lives while hanging out on the web in New York City. The film hits theaters June 2.

What is Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse About?

“Miles Morales returns for the next chapter in the Spider-Verse saga, Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse,” reads the synopsis. “After reuniting with Gwen Stacy, the full-time, friendly neighborhood Brooklyn Spider-Man is catapulted into the Multiverse, where he meets a team of Spider-People entrusted with protecting its very existence. But when the heroes fight over how to handle a new threat, Miles finds himself fighting against other Spiders and must redefine what it means to be a hero. so that he can save the people he loves.

The film was directed by Joaquim Dos Santos, Kemp Powers, and Justin K. Thompson. It shows the sounds of Shameik Moore as Miles Morales, Hailee Steinfeld as Gwen Stacy, Jake Johnson as Peter B. Parker, Issa Rae as Spider-Woman, Daniel Kaluuya as Spider-Punk, Karan Soni as Spider-Man India, Oscar Isaac as Spider-Man 2099, Jason Schwartzman as The Spot, Brian Tyree Henry as Jefferson Davis, Luna Lauren Velez as Rio Morales, Greta Lee as Lyla, Andy Samberg and so on.

Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse is produced by Phil Lord, Chris Miller, Amy Pascal, Avi Arad, and Christina Steinberg with Alonzo Ruvalcaba. Aditya Sood and the director of the first film, Peter Ramsey, are executive producing.
