Against Me !, Pinback, Drive Like Jehu Members Forms Supergroup Plosivs, Share New Song “Broken Eyes”: Listen

Prolific guitarist John Reis (Driving Like Jehu, Hot Snakes, Rocket From the Crypt), singer/guitarist Rob Uwak (Pinback), drummer Atom Willard (Against Me!, Rocket from the Crypt) and bassist Jordan Clark (Mrs. Magician) formed a new supergroup under the name Plosivs. Their debut self-titled album is set to come out on March 17th Swami’s Records. To celebrate the news, they released a new song called “Broken Eyes.” Check it out below.

In a statement, Crow explained the inspiration behind “Broken Eyes,” saying, “For me, an obviously universal psychological protocol should be remembered with multiple perspectives on either. any event or situation with affected beings in the experience, such as. contrary to the apocryphal idea of ​​’two sides to every story.’ For a person to claim one is entirely based on an experience and perspective that they know to be unreasonable. ”

Plosivs also announced a spring tour in support of their album. The band started things on March 18 in Brooklyn, New York before stopping in big cities like Baltimore, Boston, Detroit, Chicago, Seattle, and Los Angeles. The tour ends April 10 in Phoenix, Arizona.
