Michael Grimm facing an uphill battle with health.
The singer, who won America’s Got Talent in 2010, was hospitalized and sedated last week while doctors tried to find answers to his unknown illness, his wife Lucie Zolcerova-Grimm shared with Facebook June 6. He was on a ventilator until Tuesday and is now in stable condition.
He said the 44-year-old had been “struggling with his health” in recent months and lacked energy. After taking him to the hospital, the emergency room and doctors, he said they couldn’t figure out what was wrong.
“On Memorial Day, it kind of took him out,” Lucie shared. “He looks sick.” Michael didn’t answer her right away or lift her head, so he “took her” to the ER. “He started talking nonsense,” she recalled, adding that the physical tremors began.
Michael spent last week in the ICU, with Lucie explaining, “For the safety of his health, they have to put him on a ventilator and keep him very quiet, so he doesn’t have a stroke, so he doesn’t he will flatline. .”
