Andrew WK extended his tour of the U.S. until 2022, something unusual for the current state of the world. But he also went a step further by mysteriously deleting all of his social media accounts.
The “Party Hard” rocker is set to start a series of performances in September, but just finished playing his Rockhester festival -guided gigs and Riot Fest. His headlining shows are pushed until 2022.
As in MetalSucks Pointed out, in a missing FB post, it was announced, “Andrew WK’s 2021 tour dates are also scheduled for 2022. All tickets for 2021 will be honored, and payments will be available on point to purchase until Sept. 27. ”
While new dates have not been formally announced, tickets for the 2022 shows will now be available. Ticketmaster, with dates from Sept. 8 to 23 of the following year.
The travel postponement came right with the release of Andrew WK’s new album, God is having fun, which arrived on September 10 and is now available on Amazon. He was also scheduled to play at Furnace Fest on Sept. 26th, but organizers announced last night that he was no longer in charge.
On the 27th, all of Andrew WK’s social media accounts (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and his official website) were deleted or removed without explanation.
Earlier this year, Andrew married of actress Kat Dennings (2 Broken Girls, WandaVision). He continues to post on social media, including a live shot of Andrew a few weeks ago Instagram.
Serious consequences reached Andrew WK’s record label for a statement. In the meantime, see his 2022 visit dates below.
