Andy Shauf Announces Tour, Sharing New “sin” Video: Watch

Andy Shauf announces a tour of North American. The singer and songwriter will start by playing some performances in the United States in September before the tour also begins in February 2022. Shauf will then travel to Europe in April 2022 for some concerts across the pond. Check out Shauf’s tour posters below.

Along with the tour announcement, Andy Shauf released the music video for him Neon Skyline song “sin,” which you can also find below. Anne Douris, who oversaw the visual, said in a statement:

This is a story about growing loneliness. In particular, it’s about how wage labor-the business we have to work to survive-has shaped our lives from the time we were born. I think we perceive childhood as a time of “freedom” when in fact our lives are involved in the struggles of working adults. That’s why I want these scenes of childhood loneliness, memorable memories left alone in our empty home, where fun and imagination are tainted with fear. Fear of the dark, fear of leaving, fear of loss. Visually inspired by the NFB cartoons I swallowed it as a child, I wanted it to feel like an old faded memory, colored by time and distorted every time it was remembered. Like these memories we don’t share with anyone more vulnerable – ephemeral to the point of scattering.
