A young woman travels back in time to the beauties of the 1960s in the first trailer for Edgar Wrightnew movie Last Night in Soho. Coming psychological thriller on October 22 starring Thomas McKenzie (Jojo Rabbit), Matt Smith (The Crown, Doctor Who), and our 2020 TV maker of the year, Anya Taylor-Joy (Gambit to the Queen).
Last Night in Soho follows fashion-obsessed Eloise (McKenzie), who suffers a chronological departure and finds her idol Sandy (Taylor-Joy), formerly a wannabe singer. Wait, there’s a darkness resting beneath this version of London, and Eloise’s sense of reality begins to crumble. Check it out below.
This is Wright’s first fictional film since 2017 Baby Driver, even if he is not lazy; He recently applied to Sundance 2021 with his new music doc The Spark Brothers. Next, he will lead an adaptation of Stephen King’s The Running Man. As for Taylor-Joy, she is the star of a couple of projects leaning from exciting auteurs, including Robert Egger’s The Northman come in 2022 and George Miller’s Mad Max spinoff angry coming to 2023.
