Lucasfilm dropped another Star Wars: The Bad Batch Season 2 TV spot for the upcoming return of the hit Disney+ animated series. The next installment is scheduled to air on January 4, 2023, along with the first two episodes.
The video continues to tease the aftermath of the events of Kamino from the first season, which sees the titular team take on new missions that will take them to unexpected and dangerous new places.

“Star Wars: The Bad Batch follows the elite and experimental clones of Bad Batch (first introduced in The Clone Wars) as they find their way in a rapidly changing galaxy after the Clone Wars,” reads the synopsis of the first season. “The members of the Bad Batch – a unique squad of clones that differ from genetics from their Clone Army brethren – each with a unique skill that makes them highly effective soldiers and a formidable crew.”
The series features the voices of Dee Bradley Baker, Michelle Ang, Rhea Perlman, and Noshir Dalal, with Emmy winner Wanda Sykes making her guest star debut in the second season as Phee Genoa.
Star Wars: The Bad Batch from executive producer Dave Filoni, who has been an integral force in Star Wars universe this past decade because of his work on multiple Star Wars animated movies, like The Clone Wars, Rebelsand Star Wars Resistanceas well as the live-action series The Mandalorian.
The series is executive produced by Athena Portillo, Brad Rau, Jennifer Corbett, and Carrie Beck, with Josh Rimes set to produce. Rau also serves as supervising director with Corbett as head writer.
