Letitia Wright’s Shuri is set to lead the way as the new Black Panther in the upcoming films and series of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Before he put on the costume Black Panther: Wakanda Foreverhowever, there are other ideas of what he looks like.
Towards the end of Wakanda Forever, Shuri becomes the newest Black Panther and wears a slightly modified but still recognizable Black Panther costume, similar to the one worn by Chadwick Boseman. An Instagram post from artist and illustrator Wesley Burt shows some of the early designs for Shuri’s costume look.

While some of the costumes are very similar to the original Black Panther costume, others look very different, with some featuring other accessories such as capes and large earrings.
