A new rumor suggests that Namor & Atlantis will be part of Black Panther: Wakanda Forever and that it will put a Namor spin-off movie on MCU.
Black Panther: Wakanda Sa Kahangturan is rumored to be building another major MCU franchise, this time for the character of Namor. Black Panther is one of the most successful films at Marvel Studios because it is the thirteenth highest grossing film in the world, with $ 1.3 billion dollars. It was also the only Marvel Studios film to win an Academy Award for Best Picture. Ryan Coogler returned to lead the much -anticipated sequel but kept most of the film a secret.
Black Panther: Wakanda Sa Kahangturan there is a very difficult production. The tragic death of star Chadwick Boseman in 2020 led to a complete rewrite of the script, forcing the film’s release date to be pushed from May 6, 2022, to November 11, 2022. The Marvel Studios has made the decision not to return T’Challa in Boseman’s honor, and several rumors have pointed to his brother Shuri taking on the Black Panther cloak. However, star Letitia Wright sustained an injury on set, and while they were filming around her as much as they could, production was shut down for two months. Wright has since returned to the set and filming is set to begin with about a month of shooting work remaining on the film.
While the details of the scheme Black Panther: Wakanda in Eternity rarely, a widespread rumor is that it will feature the character Namor the Submariner. According to BleedingCool, the sequel is slated to feature Namor, his Namora, and Atlantean warlord Attuma and will feature a battle between Wakanda and Atlantis. Namor’s presence in the film is similar to Black Panther’s in Captain America: Civil War with the plan to cast Namor in his own film.
Created by writer and actor Bill Evert in 1939, Namor was one of the first superheroes in the Golden Age of Comics and a major character for Marvel Comics when it was named Timely Comics. Stan Lee returns the character to the pages of The Fantastic Four #4 in 1962 and has since become a major player in the Marvel Universe as the ruler of Atlantis. He has always found himself as an enemy and ally of The Fantastic Four, Black Panther, The X-Men, Doctor Doom, and more. Universal Pictures reserves the film rights to the character and the like Harry Potter and the Sorcerers Stoneby Chris Columbus and Terminator 3: Rise of the EngineJonathan Mostow was included in the directing. For years, it has been a question of whether Marvel Studios acquired the rights back to the character or if they are still held by Universal, but if the rumor is true, it appears that the option for Universal is lost.
Marvel Studios has laid the groundwork for Atlantis and Namor to appear on MCU for many years. Iron Man 2 there is a SHIELD logo on an ocean map. Avengers: Last Game shows a reference to an underwater earthquake, and most recently, the occurrence of Eternals shows the Celestial Tiamut emerging from the Indian Ocean, which probably caused the great turmoil in Atlantis. With The Fantastic Four set to join MCU, it seems like the right time for Namor to make his big screen debut. The concept that with advanced civilizations like Atlantis and Wakanda fight is definitely a bold direction. Black Panther: Wakanda Sa Kahangturan and may introduce the next breakout hero for the MCU.
