Bob Dylan calls the Sex Abuse Lawsuit from Professional Psychic a “Brazen Shakedown”

Bob DylanNeither’s legal team has formally responded to allegations made by an unknown woman that he had sex with her when she was 12, calling her kiha a “useless shake.” as more outlets there reported, her lawyers also sought to embarrass the woman by paying attention to her work as a psychic.

The plaintiff is a 68-year-old woman identified in court documents as JC. He initially claimed that in April and May of 1965, Dylan tried to “lower his restraints with the intent of sexually abusing him, which he did, combined with the supply of drugs, alcohol and physical threats. violence, which has left him with emotional scars and psychological damage to this day. ”

However, Dylan was touring at the time, and the timeline of JC’s events did not match public records of his actions. Last week, the lawsuit was amended to claim the abuse occurred within “a few months” in the spring.

Dylan’s legal group responded to the amendment by filing calling the case “a futile shuffle … false, malicious, indifferent and blasphemous”. It continued, “Mr. Dylan will not extort. Mr. Dylan will vigorously defend himself against these lies twisted by the lawyer and seek justice against all those responsible, including by seeking monetary punishment against the people responsible for making and filing this abusive lawsuit. ”

Without identifying the woman, lawyers promoted her personal website, where she claims she is a psychic who can channel the dead, communicate with living and dead animals, and read signs of everything from tea leaves and coffee grounds to smudge lipstick. JC also once said he was “kidnapped by aliens and piloted their spaceship.”

In response, JC’s attorney Peter Gleason said, “Neither my client nor his attorney can be bullied. More than half of Americans believe in psychic phenomena. If you attack someone because of their beliefs, you are breaking into very dangerous territory. It is nationally based, freedom of religion. It should not divert our attention to the allegations. This case is about facts. ”

No date has been set for a hearing.
