Bobby Flay Out of the Food Network After 27 Years


Bobby Flay hung his apron on the Food Network, as his days in their kitchen counted.

The TV chef, 56, is parting ways with the Food Network after 27 years, according to several reports. His most recent three-year deal expires at the end of the year and negotiations to renew his contract have ended, different reports, citing sources close to the situation.

He has been an ingredient topic on the Food Network for more than two decades, along with shows Beat Bobby Flay, Brunch at Bobby’s, The Flay List and Grillin ‘and Chillin’. Flay also lent his stardom chopped, The Next Star of the Food Network, Worst Cooks in America, Iron Chef America and several displayed signatures.

It’s unclear where she’ll go next, but with 15 cooking books under her belt, fans will never be far from one of her barbecue recipes.

His latest, Beat Bobby Flay: Conquer the Kitchen with 100+ War -Tried Recipes: A Cookbook, was released just two days ago on Oct. 5. The book includes its own creations and recipes from those who, in fact, beat Bobby Flay on TV: Alex GuarnaschelliLobster Newberg, Marcus Samuelssonsocial chicken in Ethiopia and Shelby’s victoryLemon-Thyme Olive Oil Cake.
