Boygenius to Perform at 2023 Tibet House US Benefit Concert

Boygenius will perform on Tibet House US Benefit Concert tomorrow night (March 1). As well as Phoebe Bridgers, Lucy Dacus, and Julien Baker, this year’s edition of the Carnegie Hall concert will feature performances from Philip Glass (the artistic director of the event), Arooj Aftab, Bernard Sumner of the New Order and Tom Chapman, Laurie Anderson, Gogol Bordello, and others.

Uma Thurman, Maggie Gyllenhaal, Peter Sarsgaard, and Arden Wohl will be the evening’s honorary chairs. Bridgers has played in the annual event twice before, in 2020 (with Iggy Pop and Patti Smith, among others) and 2021 (with Brittany Howard, Eddie Vedder, and others). Boygenius is getting ready to release their debut album, The Recordand compiled it into three songs: “$20,” “Emily I’m Sorry,” and “True Blue.”
