Kita na building an Alaskan style cabin house for sale as well. It’s so small, every stable foot is more valuable.
There should be panty in any house I build. I design my kitchens to hold utensils (dishes, mixing bowls, pots and pans, cutting boards, etc.) and spices and coffee. That’s it Everything else goes to the pantry. Yes, everyone. If it is constantly rotating, it should be open to the viewer. That way you won’t end up with expired cans in deep drawers or moldy bread on the back of the shelf. Or maybe worse, you can’t access and inventory what you have quickly and easily.
Even if it was a small house, we made sure to include a pantry in the middle of the kitchen.
This week, we put in pantry shelving. We want to put the right shelf that can last a lifetime and not need to be removed or replaced later. You can also do it right the first time, it will save you time and money in the long run.

It’s a job to increase the corner, but it’s worth it for more accessible storage.
