Yosano, Tanizaki, and Kenji go to the meeting point. Tanizaki says he will join the Mafia instead of Yosano. He also asked her what happened between her and Mori. He explained that Fukuzawa and Mori were former allies of the Tripartite Project. However, that changed because of Yosano. Ten years later, near the end of the Great War, Mori enlisted Yosano under his tutelage. He healed the soldiers with his ability. He meets a soldier reading a book who gives him a metal ornament for his butterfly.
Yosano and the soldier became friends. However, the war situation worsened. He often heals soldiers, preventing their death. Mori orders Yosano to heal his soldier friend, but he refuses, saying that he can heal without returning to the front lines. However, Mori threatened him by shooting the soldier. Eventually, Yosano could not cope with the guilt and pressure of taking the choice of soldiers to retreat.
Yosano’s friend finally couldn’t stand the situation either. After the war, Yosano was placed in an institution. Three years later, Mori found him. Fukuzawa ends his alliance with Mori after realizing what Yosano wants to use him for. As they fight, Ranpo dismisses Yosano and comforts him. Currently, the three heads for the meeting point, with Yosano determined to save the Agency.
