The cerebral three-track EP contains an unstoppable energy that shines through pounding drums and haunting storytelling. It’s a fitting follow-up to Sangiuliano and de Witte’s remix of “The Age of Love,” which quickly became a global techno hit after its release in 2021.
Kicking off the long-awaited titular track,ponder was created to “analyze the rebounding of sound waves between different mediums,” per a press release. The two super-producers, who announced their engagement back in 2021, taking their passion for visceral sound design and musical immersion to a new level.

Meanwhile, de Witte recently announced a 2023 North American tour. Sangiuliano and his NINETOZERO imprint are also hitting the road for a series of “all night” events. Said to reflect the ideology of ’90s club culture, his “SOLO” series kicks off with a show at Rome’s Spazio 900 on March 18. ticket now sold out.
A few months ago, Sangiuliano was announced as part of Armin van Buuren’s 20th anniversary A State of Trance show. The landmark event took place in the Netherlands on March 3 and 4, and featured performances from ARTBAT, Vini Vici, Andrew Rayel, Ferry Corsten and many more.
