Bright Eyes stopped at the Late Late Show with James Corden to perform “Falling Out of Love at This Volume,” a soon-to-be re-release song that Conor Oberst wrote and released by his teens. Check it out below.
In February, Bright Eyes Office has partnered the reissue of their first three albums: A Collection of Songs Written and Recorded 1995-1997 (which includes “Falling Out of Love at This Volume”), Leaving Happinessand Fever and mirror. Those reissues are from May 27 via Dead Oceans, each paired with six tracks ”company”EPs featuring reworked versions of original songs, including guest Waxhatchee, Phoebe Bridgers, and more. The band’s last studio LP was in 2020 Under the weeds, where the world used to be.
Bright Eyes is currently on a North American tour. In May, frontman Conor Oberst came out on stage two songs on their set on the Lawn at White Oak Music Hall in Houston. The band immediately opened the stage for fans to perform “Bright Eyes karaoke” until the staff announced that the show had been canceled.
