ComingSoon makes a Sons of the Corn Blu-ray giveaway ahead of the psychological thriller’s home media release. We have two Blu-ray copies to give away as part of the contest.
“It follows a 12-year-old girl in Nebraska who is possessed by the spirit of a dying corn,” reads the synopsis. “He recruited other children in his small town to go on a bloody rampage and kill all the adults and anyone who opposed him. A bright high schooler who doesn’t go along with the plan is the town’s only hope for survival. “
Based on the 1977 short story by Stephen King, Children of the Corn is written and directed by Kurt Wimmer. The story was first adapted for the big screen in 1984, with Linda Hamilton and Peter Horton serving as the leads. This version stars Elena Kampouris (Before I Fall), Kate Moyer (When Hope Calls), Callan Mulvey (Avengers: Endgame), and Bruce Spence (The Road Warrior).
