Chris CornellThe family reached a confidential settlement with the doctor who treated the singer at his death, according to Rolling Stone reports. Cornell’s widow, Vicky Cornell, and her two children have sued by Dr. Robert Koblin for misconduct in 2018 and settled the case last month.
Cornell died by suicide in May 2017, and a toxic report revealed several prescription drugs in his system, including Naxolone, Lorazepam, Pseudoephedrine, and barbiturates. In the original suit, Cornell’s family maintained that Koblin’s treatment contributed to the singer’s death, saying the drugs “damaged [his] knew, sprayed his judgment, and caused him to risk useful behaviors which he could not control, which imposed on him his life. ”
