Coven of Chaos Set Photo Reveals MCU Series in Production

Through a Instagram story shared by Heartstopper breakout Joe Locke, confirmed that the production of Marvel Studios is highly anticipated Agatha: Coven of Chaos finally the series has started. As part of Phase 5 of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, it is expected to premiere in winter 2023.

The young actor also shared the first behind-the-scenes photo from the set of the Kathryn Hahn-led Disney+ series, which features a set of chairs with “Agnes of Westview” written on the back. If fans recall, Agnes was the name Agatha Harkness used while she was disguised as a resident of Westview in the early episodes of WandaVision.

Agatha: Coven of Chaos officially announced during Disney Day 2021. It will feature the return of Kathryn Hahn as she reprises her WandaVision role as Agatha Harkness, who is one of the antagonists of the series led by Elizabeth Olsen and is the one who reveals Wanda’s true potential as the Scarlet Witch. For her fan favorite performance, she earned an Emmy nomination for Best Supporting Actress.

The series will also see the return of Emma Caulfield Ford and Debra Jo Rupp, who reprise their roles as Westview residents. They will be joined by new MCU Emmy nominees Aubrey Plaza, Joe Locke Ali Ahn, Maria Dizzia, Sasheer Zamata, and Patti LuPone, with Locke rumored to be the male lead.

The upcoming project comes from head writer Jac Schaeffer, who also serves as an executive producer alongside Kevin Feige. The directing lineup consists of Schaeffer, Gandja Monteiro, and Rachel Goldberg.
