Combining their creative minds, Crywolf and DISTANCE launched their new collaborative project,ANTAGONÏZERwith their debut single, “STATIC,” out now onHypnoVizion.
“STATIC” is an impressive mesh of the sound of Crywolf and AWAY, taking the brooding, heavy feel of each artist’s previous work and capturing the raw, unforgiving essence they exude. The sound is perfectly tuned for REZZ’s newly minted imprint, as they dive into the depths of their sonic territory.
“‘STATIC’ taps into the primal archetypes of our psyches, the cold, angry, primal drive within us all that terrifies us in their alien ways,” said ANTAGONÏZER in a press release shared by EDM.com. “The remnants of our ancestors are still in our brains. Watching, waiting … hungry.”
This is not the first time we have seen Crywolf and AWAY together, as they have previously joined forces on tracks “Parasite” with Roniit and “Ghostbox.” Now that they’ve launched a joint alias of ANTAGONÏZER, get ready for a deeper exploration of their haunting sound.
