Back to April, Bonaduce announced that he was taking a temporary medical leave from his radio show.

As Bonaduce later explained Good morning Americahe began experiencing symptoms earlier that month, with his wife noticing that his speech seemed affected.
“He looked really nervous,” she recalled. “[She said,] ‘You don’t say words. You don’t speak English,’ which of course was funny to me. Then we called an ambulance and they took me to the hospital, where I stayed for the first five days and I remember very little of it.”
Bonaduce said his balance and ability to walk were also affected, and he encouraged fans to focus on their health.
“Take time to consider your health, what you’re doing,” he shared. “Pay attention.”
