DC Studios Co-CEO James Gunn talked about Wonder Woman a bit over the weekend, saying he’s trying to get more animated projects starring the iconic hero made.
Gunn first responded to a Twitter user who said that Wonder Woman has a lot of potential for future stories in an animated series. The filmmaker agreed, and said, “Work on it.”
When another user said that they thought Gunn was only pointing to more stories based on the Wonder Woman story as the future Paradise Lost show, Gunn clarified that he meant that he was working on getting more Wonder Woman animated projects made and that this was one of the first things he brought up to the people working on DC animated projects in when he joined DC.
The first phase of the DC Universe, called Chapter One: Gods and Monsters, will feature many different movies and television shows. Some of the announced projects include a Batman and Robin-focused movie called The Brave and the Bolda Supergirl movie titled Supergirl: Girl of Tomorrowa Swamp Thing film, and many TV shows.
