A new label for licensing electronic music is set to be launched on pataymau5 in partnership with Extreme Music and UTA.
Designed specifically for professional music users, beathau5 is a new project that will launch this Spring along with five album releases right from deadmau5, and with mau5trap artists like Jay Robinson and Maison Ware. Each album release is also followed by NFT drops, made in collaboration with the world’s unnamed famous visual artist.
Beathau5’s music libraries will be maintained by deadmau5 itself to help artists ensure the placement of their music within film and television productions and more. Recently, deadmau5 scored in the 2019 film Polar, and Ware backed the score for the 2020 Sundance film, Spree.
“Extreme is a very good partner to get our picks in the hands of the right people,” he said in a partnership statement.
“The alignment of core talent on stage has always been different from Extreme,” added Russell Emanuel, President and CEO of Extreme Music. “The association with the famous deadmau5 and mau5trap is one reason Our clients expect the most and we can’t wait for them to feel it.”
