“Muddy Feet”
“Muddy Feet,” the ninth song on the record, has fans talking about the explosive lyrics, as the song refers to betrayal and deception from a former lover.
“I don’t know / Who you think you’re messing with,” Miley sings. “Get out of my house with that s–t / Get the f–k out of my life with that s–t.”
However, it was one particular message that hit fans like a wrecking ball: “And you smell like perfume I never bought / Now I know why you close the curtains (Uh- uh) / Get the f–k out of my house.”
“Wonder Woman”
But relationships and heartbreak aside, Miley’s eighth album also shares insight into a journey of self-love. For example, her song, “Wonder Woman,” describes a person picking up the pieces by herself.
“She’s a wonder woman / She knows what she wants,” he sings. “Never knew he was broken / ‘Cause he was always good / He was a million moments / Lived a thousand lives.”
Elsewhere, the Dark Glass alum notes a moment of self-reflection: “When his favorite record comes on and he’s dancing in the dark / He can’t stop his eyes from rolling, up / He makes sure no one see his separation / He wants to be the one who can never be.”
