What is Vinyl Best for?
Anyone permanent adhesive vinyl working for flower arrangements. For this, we use foil adhesive vinyl for extra sparkle. You can also use a solid glossy vinyl or matte vinyl, as long as it is a permanent vinyl. All is well and your flower will last a long time.
As I used to Cricut vinyl since it is the very best quality, in my opinion, you may want other options. Below are some that are popular and great for adding to your Cricut gear and supplies.
What Kind of Flower Pots Should I Use?
Any flower arrangement you want! I prefer plastic flower pots as the vinyl stays pretty good, but you can also use any pot you have in your hand. Terra cotta flower pots are popular and cheapest. Concrete is more expensive but can come in many colors and mirrors. Just get what you want and give it a try!
The only ones that don’t work as well as the ones with tons of texture. While this can be done, it may take a little more work to push it. Below are some of my favorites for this project.
What Sealant Should You Add to Make It Last Longer?
If they are used as flower pots or as gifts, you can have them sealed so the vinyl doesn’t come off easily. While there is good permanent vinyl that will last a long time, it is always a good idea to add seal.
Depending on what kind of flower arrangement you use, I recommend using a Rain Guard Water Sealer or the It is made with Krylon Ultimate Bright Coat Sealer. Both work amazingly in flower pots.
Can I Have More Message Size?
Yes! One of my favorite things about Cricut is that you can easily customize the messages and layout to fit your needs. That means you can change the spelling, add an element, make them more or less, or even move elements around. You can also use any color of vinyl you want for it and have the same results but customized to your own liking.
