DJ Khaled brought his song “God Did” to the 2023 Grammy Awards tonight (February 5) at the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles. This included him Jay-Z, John Legend, Lil Wayne, Rick Ross, and Fridayy for an eight-minute performance, featuring the original track. With Legend behind the piano, each featured artist took turns rapping. Jay-Z performed his long verse while sitting at a table full of food reminiscent of the Last Supper painting. Khaled received five nominations this year in the categories of Album of the Year, Song of the Year, Best Rap Performance, Best Melodic Rap Performance, and Best Rap Song. He holds a first Grammy Award in Best Rap/Sung Collaboration category, which he took home in 2020 for his song “Higher” with John Legend and Nipsey Hussle.
