Duckwrth Announces New EP Chrome Bull With Syd-Featuring “Ce Soir”

Back in March, Duckward shared a party-ready song called “Powerful Power.” Turns out it was the lead single from his newly announced EP Chrome Bull, which is due on August 26 through STEM. To keep the momentum going, he shared a new song today called “Ce Soir”. Sydand he also revealed an extensive list of tour dates in North America and Europe.

While Duckwrth kept most of the other details about the Chrome Bull EP under wraps at the moment, he promised that “once you press play, you don’t want to sit down.” New artists from NERD to Thom Yorke announce what we hear Chrome Bull The EP so far is proving to be a staple for late summer dance parties.

“Ce Soir,” which translates to “tonight” in English, is sultry and upbeat as the energy continues high. Layering bilingual vocals over an intoxicating house beat, the song evokes the excitement of late-night exploration of a new city: “I’ve got a new bag of tricks I wanna try / Can let’s dip, put the shift in the hide / Lil mama the vibes wanna vibe out/ She like the way the diamonds still dance with the lights out,” Duckwrth raps.

The Mancy Gant-directed music video for “Ce Soir” is playfully sexy, too, as Duckwrth and Syd both pin down the same love interest under the stars. Check it out below.

Duckwrth made his label debut in the 2020’s Very goodand since then, he was also placed last year SG8* EP. As for Syd, he released his sophomore LP Broken Hearts Club in April.
