The founder of SpaceX, who officially took over the social media platform back in October in a $44 billion dealannounced that the ad exec Linda Yaccarino is now the head of the company.
“@LindaYacc will focus primarily on business operations, while I focus on product design and new technology,” she Tweet May 12. “Looking forward to working with Linda to transform this platform into X, the all app.”
A day before he unveiled Yaccarino as CEO of Twitter—he previously served as NBCUniversal’s Chairman of Global Advertising and Partnerships—Musk made the announcement in a message to his followers.
“He starts in ~6 weeks!” HE WRITES May 11. “My role will transition to being exec chair & CTO, product management, software and sysops.”
