Fortnite, Gears Of War, ug Not true developer Epic Games announces a free virtual event that will bring together some of the industry’s leading thinkers from around the world to share inspiring and informative content.
“Unreal Build: Broadcast & Live Events” features keynote speakers, game studios, and other key industry figures as well as previews of new looks and upgrades to be introduced in Unreal’s latest update Engine, 4.27, this summer.
Legend of EDM pataymau5 will be one of the keynote speakers, in a fireside chat with Epic’s Solutions Architect Patrick Wambold and directed by Senior Marketing Manager Dana Cowley. He will contemplate everything from the role real-time technology can play in visual and effects stages, to virtual concerts and the future of augmented reality and Metaverse technology.
Another discussion on the main fireside comes courtesy of FOX Sports CEO Eric Shanks, who invented sports features like the “yellow forward line” used in NFL broadcasts. and the “glittering puck” that makes NHL action easy to follow.
The Shanks were with FOX Sports SVP of Graphics and Innovation Zac Fields in a discussion led by LA Lab’s Head of Epic Connie Kennedy. The discussion will cover virtual sets and AR hosts and how to use the network to enhance those experiences.
