Clearly returned their nostalgia rock tour, Summerland, for 2021. This time, they got fellow alternative rock veterans Hoobastank and Wheatus. Metal pioneers Living Color they will also participate.
The hike will begin July 2 at Orange County Speedway in Middletown, New York, and hit towns like Atlantic City, NJ; Houston, Texas; and Cincinnati, Ohio for the entire remainder of the month. This will finally continue until September and early October as COVID-19 orders are taken.
In a statement, Everclear frontman and Summerland Tour founder Art Alexakis said,
“After personally battling COVID-19 for two months and managing the persistent symptoms, I am very grateful that the counts are counting, vaccines are rising, and that we have the opportunity to go to the US as well. .I’m not particularly proud of the lineup of these legendary alternative bands.Living Color, Hoobastank, and Wheatus have always been personal favorites of mine and I’m excited to share the stage with them this summer.I’ll tell the whole tour if I say we are absolutely excited and grateful to be back on the road and performing live for our fans, friends, and family. ”
Summerland first launched in 2012 and there have been bands like Sugar Ray, Eve 6, Live, and many more over the years.
