Following in the footsteps of My Chemical Romance and Blink-182, Fall Out Boy teasing their imminent return. In a letter sent to their email list, the band revealed that they were in the studio “jamming ideas in a small room.”
Titled “A Homeboy’s Life,” the note features a few paragraphs of existential rambling before getting to the point. “We spent the last year jamming ideas in a small room [and] can’t wait to share it with you,” it read. “Thank you for always staying. Thanks for working on the beat. Spoiler alert: we’ve got more than just a gold watch coming your way next year. “

The announcement comes a week after the pop punk group appeared to tease new music with an animated video called “A Claymation Fall Out Boy Celebration,” which you can watch below.
