‘Fantasy Island’ Season 2 Cast In Elena & Javier’s Romance (Exclusive) – Hollywood Life

After a long break, Fantasy Island returned for a second season. New guests flock to Fantasy Island to fulfill their wildest fantasies. HollywoodLife spoke EXCLUSIVELY with Roselyn Sanchez, Kiara Barnesand john gabriel rodriquez about what lies ahead.

“We see a lot of people having life-changing experiences. We have marital problems to resolve. The friendship became stronger,” said Roselyn. “We have a girl who wants to be a princess and be taken care of and not have to think too much about life and then realizes that she has to believe in herself, which is an important topic for young women now.”

When it comes to Elena and Javier’s relationship, romance is in the air. “I think he asked this woman. He was chased. He made it difficult for him,” John said HollywoodLife. “He was the one chasing, that’s why he was scared. But I think Javier once he knew what he wanted, he went after it. He continues to chase this one. We will look into that.”

Roselyn believes that Elena is ready for love. “I was even surprised that he was ready. She goes for it,” revealed the actress. “He opens his heart and things happen … it’s about family and discovery and acceptance and letting the other person be happy.”

Roselyn also admitted that one of the “biggest” challenges for Elena in season 2 is “trying to keep this relationship going, even though the island is going to throw some curveballs and exploring what we want from the relationship … I think the chemistry is undeniable, so we can play with that.”

He continued, “As actors, that’s all you can ask for. That’s the dream of making a TV show that’s good and people are invested in the characters and their mindset and their journey.

Ruby and Gina are still going strong in season 2, but they will encounter some challenges. “They have been together for a long time,” said Kiara. “Ruby is very comfortable. It felt like home, and we started to realize that maybe some communication was needed between the two of them. One person may feel more hurt than the other and trying to figure out if this is something that will never end? Is this just a thing for now?”

He went on to say, “The first episode of the second episode, something happened throughout the episode. It’s one of those things that you have to learn because you get the instant gratification and understanding of the line of everyone’s story in the first episode. Fantasy Island airs Mondays on FOX.
