Bronx rapper Kay Flock was arrested Dec. 23 on a first-degree murder charge, his attorney Scott E. Leemon confirmed to Pitchfork. According to Daily News, For Flock — an 18 -year -old born Kevin Perez — is suspected in the shooting and murder of a 24-year-old man in Manhattan on Dec. 16. In addition to the murder case, Kay Flock faces two felony counts of criminal possession of a firearm in the second degree, according to online records viewed by Pitchfork.
In a formal statement, shared by Pitchfork on Dec. 24, Leemon said:
For Flock exploded in August with the single “Faithfulness. ” A few months later, G Herbo joined him a remix to hit. Two versions of “Being Honest” are included in Kay Flock’s debut project, The DOA Tape, released in November via Capitol Records.
The next court appearance is scheduled for Feb. 10.
