GhostDragon is preparing for a big year.
After a 2021 breakout, which saw the release of his critically acclaimed Stranger Again EP and some amazing singles, the 21-year-old dance music beatsmith is back with his first release in 2022.
Coming out today via Wave Music/Paradise Music Group, the “temporary love” pairs are sick of the lyrics — courtesy of singer-songwriter Robbie Rosen — with melancholic sound design in the upcoming bass arrangement. At such a young age, GhostDragon’s famous grip on the emotional side of dance music goes even deeper. Rosen’s rising lyrical performance records familiar sad stories, as GhostDragon’s full acoustic production brings the track to life.
Expanding her signature melodic style, “temporary love” serves as the lead single from GhostDragon’s upcoming debut album. You can listen to the new track below and search for it on your preferred streaming platform HERE.
“‘ Temporary love ’with American Idol finalist Robbie Rosen is the first track on my upcoming album,” GhostDragon explained in a press release shared by EDM.com. “The track is a little different than the usual one I do, and requires more of an acoustic approach.”
GhostDragon’s 2021 culminated in a career -defining show, opening for ILLENIUM on its “Fallen Embers” tour of the Bill Graham Civic Auditorium in San Francisco. And later this month, he will make his debut in “one of the [his] dream clubs, “showcasing MiTiS support at 1015 Folsom in San Francisco. Event tickets available HERE.
