Gia Coppola in Directing Boy Band Documentary Superfans: Screaming. Crying. Vomited.

Gia Coppola is set to direct the upcoming documentary titled superfans: scream. cried. vomited.As The deadline reports. The project is based on the 2020 book Bigger Than Life: A History of Boy Bands from NKOTB to BTS by reporter and contributor Pitchfork Maria Sherman. Coppola will co-produce the project with Jason Bateman’s production company Aggregate Films.

Coppola’s last long-running project is 2020 Mainstream, a comedy-drama starring Andrew Garfield and Maya Hawke. Prior to that, he directed several music videos: “Applaud” by Yves Tumor, “You’re Not Good Enough” by Yves Tumor, “You’re Not Good Enough,” and “Cut to the Feeling” and “Your Type” by Carly Rae Jepsen.
