Gina Schock on Go-Go in New Photo Book and Rock Hall Induction

The Go-GoDrummer/singer Gina Schock jumped in line with Kyle Meredith to discuss her new book, Made in Hollywood: All Access with The Go-Go’s, which takes us back to the band’s early ’80s explosion through phots and essays from some of their famous friends.

Schock recounts those early days of touring the van, with Paul Reubens doing their opening work with his character Pee-wee Herman, and the support given and received from other female actresses of the time, including Kate Pierson and Joan Jett on the B-52.

The band also covered the big night inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, record their 2020 comeback single “Club Zero,”And a tease of the projects on The Go-Go.
