Gray’s Anatomy and Additional Pause Production Due to COVID-19

Murag Meredith Gray hang up his lab coat for a moment.

In Jan. 5, TVLine reports that they are planning to resume production of at least three Los Angeles-based television series — including Grey’s Anatomy, Station 19 and The Rookiedue to the Omicron variant COVID surge. The series is scheduled to resume production the week of January 3, but is now rescheduled to begin the week of January 10.

According to the report, this production stop was due to caution and not due to any cast-specific outbreak. Even if this isn’t what TV fans expect to receive, we’re happy to share that the production stop isn’t predicted to affect any of the film’s on-air schedules — at the moment.

With three drama-series, ABC’s daytime soap opera, General Hospital, bida Maurice Benard and Rebecca Herbst, also delayed the start of its production by another week.
