“I wrote the first idea for this record when I first moved to Los Angeles in 2017 and it’s been haunting me ever since,” Habstrakt said in a statement. “I had a vision for it but could never get it right, until recently I decided to completely rework it after being inspired by Amsterdam for ADE and the development of the album.”

Ahead of the album, which will be released in March 2023, Habstrakt is set to embark on an eponymous “Heritage” tour with stops in the US and Europe. Softest Hard, Lucille Croft and Chyl will support.

Meanwhile, Mala “Don Malaa” tour working his way through Europe, with stops remaining in Madrid, London, Vienna and Paris. He will also play in the Coachella in April.
