Speaking to ET Online, Christensen was asked if he would like to be able to lead his own series, perhaps based on one of the many spin-off comics starring Vader. Christensen said he wanted to do one if given the chance, pointing to the cultural relevance and popularity of a character like Darth Vader as evidence of why it would work.

“Actually, I think it’s a trait that is changing our culture in a profound way, and there’s definitely a lot more to explore,” Christensen said. “There are a lot of other stories being told by other mediums, and I want to continue my journey with him.”

With the world of Star Wars for a very large, huge time gap is not filled between some major films. This means it’s never impossible for Disney to create its own series entirely based on the iconic Darth Vader.

Obi-Wan Kenobi saw the return of Ewan McGregor to Star Wars universe as he repeats his iconic role as the titular Jedi master, which he famously portrays in George Lucas ’prequel trilogy. It also shows the return of the partner Star Wars alumni Hayden Christensen as Darth Vader and Joel Edgerton as Owen Lars.
