At the season premiere of Sex and the City reboot, And As That…, Carrie Bradshaw (Sarah Jessica Parker) said goodbye to the love of his life Mr. Big (Chris Noth) after he had a heart attack. And even if Noth is set to show a flashback scene at the end of the season, the footage will not be aired, according to TVLine.
HBO Max’s decision to remove this scene, that is They were accompanied by Parker and Noth in Paris, comes three weeks after multiple allegations of sexual assault were made against Noth. Following the allegations, which the actor denied, Noth had two left his talent agency and fired from his role on CBS ‘ The Equalizer.
At the end of the season on Feb. 3, Carrie traveled to the Pont des Arts bridge in Paris to scatter Big’s ashes into the Seine River. The stage is set to include a fantasy scene where Big shows Carrie on the bridge.
Fans of the original series may remember that the Pont des Arts had a sentimental value to the couple, as it was there that Big told Carrie that he was “the one” in season six.
