The fourth and final season of following is the crown jewel of HBO Max’s schedule for March 20-26.
On Sunday, March 26, the streaming service will release the following Season 4 premiere. The series follows the story of the Roy family — Logan Roy and his four children — who control one of the largest media and entertainment conglomerates in the world. The series follows their lives as they ponder what the future holds for them once their aging father begins to withdraw from the company.
“In the fourth season, the sale of media conglomerate Waystar Royco to tech visionary Lukas Matsson draws ever closer,” reads the season’s synopsis. “The prospect of this seismic sale stirs up existing anxiety and family division among the Roys as they anticipate what their lives will look like when the deal goes through. A power struggle ensues as the family evaluates in a future where their cultural and political weight is severely curtailed.
The series stars Brian Cox, Jeremy Strong, Alan Ruck, Kieran Culkin, and Sarah Snook. In addition, Nicholas Braun, Hiam Abbass, Peter Friedman, Matthew Macfadyen, Rob Yang, J. Smith-Cameron Dagmara Dominczyk, Arian Moayed, Justine Lupe, as well as David Rasche, and Fisher Stevens.
