HBO Max Schedule March 6-12: New TV and Movies


The Last of Us Season 1 will climax as part of the HBO Max schedule for March 6-12.

On Sunday, March 12, the first part of the adventure of Joel (Pedro Pascal) and Ellie (Bella Ramsey) will end. The live-action adaptation of the acclaimed Naughty Dog video game was an instant hit and will return for another run in the future since the series dealt with the events of the standalone first game. interestingly, The Last of Us The Season 1 finale will air at the same time as the Academy Awards ceremony.

Together with Pascal and Ramsey are Gabriel Luna (Terminator: Dark Fate) as Tommy Miller, Nico Parker (Dumb) as Joel’s daughter Sarah, Anna Torv (Mindhunter) as Tess, and Merle Dandridge (The Flight Attendant) as she reprises her role from the video games as Marlene, the leader of a resistance group known as the Fireflies. It also features Jeffrey Pierce (Bosch) as Perry, Murray Bartlett (The White Lotus) as Frank, Con O’Neill (Chernobyl) as Bill, and Storm Reid (Euphoria) said Riley.

“The live-action series takes place 20 years after the destruction of modern civilization,” reads the synopsis. “Joel and Ellie, a couple connected by the brutality of the world they live in, are forced to endure brutal conditions and brutal killers on a journey across a post-pandemic America.”

Chernobyl creator Craig Mazin and screenwriter Neil Druckmann executive produced and co-wrote The Last of Us live-action series. Druckmann also serves as one of the directors. It is a co-production of Sony Pictures Television with PlayStation Productions. Executive producers are Carolyn Strauss, Naughty Dog President Evan Wells, and PlayStation Productions’ Asad Qizilbash and Carter Swan.
