Allison Holker reflects on the journey of life with his family after their insurmountable loss.
Four months after the death of her husband Stephen “tWitch” Bossthe choreographer opened up about the scary conversations he had with the couple’s three children: Wesley14, Maddox,7, and Zaya3.
“For us, Dad is in the stars,” she said TODAYof Hoda Kotb during an interview on May 3. “So, we can go outside and talk to him whenever we want…They just ask, ‘When is daddy coming back?’ and that’s a very difficult one.”
It’s a heartbreaking question that Allison, 35, explains has been asked over and over again over time.
“And then about a few weeks later, ‘But will he come back when he’s old? Like, when Dad’s old will he come back?'” he continued. “But they are young and obviously want him here.”
In December, tWitch died by suicide at the age of 40. And as Allison shared, the grieving process for their family has been an emotional time.
